I was wondering whether current Republican Attorney General Ashley Moody is actually former Republican Attorney General Pam Bondi reborn. Pam Bondi refused to investigate Trump when he had clearly been found elsewhere to have violated federal and state law with Trump University. Today, Moody – serving under a GOP governor — wants state law enforcement to investigate Democrat Michael Bloomberg’s donations to assist felons to vote, a right which most Floridians thought had been secured by passage of Amendment 4 in 2018. Will there be a time in which we can rise above these forms of power politics?
