Amazon is not an educator; nor is it a philanthropist – but it knows where “its bread is buttered”: productive and creative employees. Florida’s educational backbone, particularly of state community colleges, has the breadth and scope to accelerate Florida’s transition from low-wage tourism jobs to higher-paid, high-growth technology jobs.
