West Palm Beach has now joined Lake Nona in planning air-taxi passenger services by 2024-25, through unmanned electric verti-copter drones for short-range commuters. Just this past week, Brightline announced it plans on providing South Florida’s Big Three – Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach and Miami – a connected eco-system of high-speed rail transportation with point-to-point connectivity through unmanned autonomous electric cars and buses. And in Brevard County, SpaceX and Blue Origin continue to schedule tourist flights to space monthly through 2022. Welcome to the future. Technologies are converging – sometimes faster than we are able to even comprehend.
