The internet continues its assault on traditional distribution channels in the red hot race for on-demand delivery by online service providers. Over the past three weeks, Central Florida has been benefitted by UberEATS with 100 Partner Restaurants, Amazon Restaurants with almost as many and more coming, and Google Express for delivery from major retailers. Instacart and Drizly launch this week. To suggest the internet is disruptive is a euphemism, of course; however, what is not is the recognition that Central Florida continues to play out as an early adopter of the last ten feet where the internet and our homes intersect.
