Orlando Sentinel’s Central Florida 100: PRESIDENTIAL POLLS

This year’s polling for the presidential election in Florida will have to factor in, as never before, the influence of early and absentee voting on election results. While Florida Atlantic University’s most recent poll showed a 49% to 46% Biden advantage – just slightly above a statistical dead heat with the 9% undecided voters leaning towards the incumbent – the smallish number of still-undecided voters combined with this year’s pandemic-influenced propensity to get the job done before Election Day will almost certainly favor rapidly unfolding national events over campaign advertising – at least in terms of the final vote count, as opposed to polls along the way.
