Was it a Woody Allen movie in some prior incarnation? It must have been decades ago, but it is imprinted to this day. I don’t remember the name of it, or the actors (although Martin Landau comes to mind…). But I was never the same from that point on.
The eyes of God see all because the eyes of God see from within. And they travel with you wherever you go.
You can’t escape. You can’t hide. You can’t…do anything. You simply have to assume that you’re perfectly exposed. Because the eyes of God travel with you and through you. So you might have eluded your husband, wife, girlfriend, boyfriend, business partner, client, vendor. You might have escaped the IRS, the creditors, or the betrayed friend or associate…but you never truly escaped, did you?
Because, at the end of the day, when it’s all said and done, you didn’t escape…yourself. You didn’t escape the eyes of God who see you from within…and who give you enormous grace, but hold you accountable with total visibility…to yourself.
