You know, I always smile whenever anything goes wrong, because I know, as soon as there’s something wrong, several days later, in the news, there’s going to be a finger-pointing episode. The most recent relates to Orlando International Airport and the Transportation Security Administration, who are now pointing fingers as to who was responsible for protecting the airport from employees. With 16,000 workers shuffling in and out of the airport per day, it actually takes an incident for the two organizations to start exchanging barbs as to who’s actually responsible for protecting them. It never ceases to amaze me how quick we are to CYA and how difficult it is to simply assume responsibility for results.
