Orlando Sentinel’s Central Florida 100: TRADER JOE’S

This year’s Axios Harris Poll 100 is looking good for Trader Joe’s, as popular in Central Florida as it apparently is countrywide. The poll, designed to identify demographics for brands and product segments, ranked Trader Joe’s No. 4 among Democrats – Publix was No. 3, by the way – No. 1 among millennials, No. 3 among boomers, No. 4 among rurals, No. 1 among urbanites, No. 3 among suburbanites, and No. 1 overall for the Top 100. In the crowded field of reputable brands, the ranking reflects high praise for Trader Joe’s. And it also reflects what was important to survey respondents: the brand’s high commitment to “citizenship,” described as sharing of local “community values.”
