, , Comments Off on Orlando Sentinel’s Central Florida 100: PRINCIPAL OF GIVING

After COVID-19 ushered in what can be described as the lost year of 2020, Matanzas High School Principal Jeff Reaves in Flagler County wrote personalized notes to each of the 459 graduating seniors for them to read before receiving their diplomas on June 2. According to Reaves, his students were impacted for five quarters and he wanted to encourage them in their next step in life, after living through so much “negativity and turmoil in the world.” In addition to the graduates and their families who will never forget him, we are blessed to witness what it looks like to be present for others.
