Orlando Sentinel’s Central Florida 100: FROST IS A RISING STAR

As Congressman Maxwell Frost is sworn in as the successful 25-year old Afro-Cuban Gen Z successor to former U.S. Rep. Val Demings, his star is looking particularly bright. As a young Democratic activist inspired to public service by former President Barrack Obama, he was recently featured in Teen Vogue Magazine as an elected official closest in age to its readership. An organizer with a working class background, driving Ubers to pay campaign bills and committed to expanding health-care coverage, climate change and gun control, Frost may have a long way to go, but he definitely has the makings of a rising star bred in our midst.
