Orlando Sentinel’s Central Florida 100: WHITE CASTLE

In the spirit of a little news goes a long way, I’m happy to report that White Castle is coming back after abandoning Florida in the 1960s because our state was too far from White Castle’s support facilities. Left behind was a consumer public who gobbled their iconic hamburger sliders a dozen at a time for possibly the worst nutrition and best taste any hamburger can boast. Slated for late 2020, the 4,500-square-foot restaurant at Disney’s Village at O-Town West is expected to be the largest location and first in Florida in half a century. Welcome back, White Castle. We missed you!
