As Electronic Arts introduced its new five-story 175,940 square foot downtown Orlando studio this past Monday, more than a new office was at stake. EA’s employees left the Company’s Maitland office some two years ago in the midst of COVID-19 and many new employees have no experience working in an office at all since they were hired and had worked remotely throughout the pandemic. The question now is where to go from here for EA and for many Central Florida companies. EA’s solution is to allow employees to decide on remote, office or hybrid work. We will be watching how that plays out.
