Three billionaires – Elon Musk, Richard Branson and Jeff Bezos – will be imprinting 2023 as a watershed year for the exploration of space starting with one launch a week, expanding to two launches by mid-year, and three weekly projected by the end of the year. For Elon, it’s all about populating lower space with global internet access and populating Mars with human beings. For Branson, it’s about redefining tourism as he brandishes lower space experiences for well-heeled passengers. And for Bezos, his mission is not particularly clear. What is clear, however, is that 2023 will be explosive. And, what is even clearer is that Central Florida will be its economic beneficiary.
