In David Brooks OpEd column from the New York Times, he quotes from a column written for the Weekly Standard by Yuval Levin setting out an ideological framework to operate as a context for Senator McCain’s campaign in what will inevitably be a very difficult year both for him as well as for the Republican Party.
I print the article here because this is truly the first time I have read anything that represents a rational context for what the Republicans must do not only to potentially win in November, but to restore their own good name after what has clearly been 8 years of a Republican debacle in Washington.
